A few suggestions

Well, this site is great, I mean it. But it can improve in other areas.

1. I think the sidebar should have less things. Maybe take out key words, RSS Feeds, the bookmark tab, and gallery, and move them to the portal page.

2. The affiliates bar is really long. Maybe make a scroll box going sideways with all the affiliates in there. Also, affiliate only with people you truly know and you know that they will advertise on their forum for you.

3. Have members wear Halo Nation userbars in their signatures at other forums. This could boos popularity on other forums with a lot of members (for example, an xbox gaming community would be a great place to put the userbar in your signature.)

I am not trying to take over the forum, I am not trying to control Axl, and I am not trying to become a staff member. I am making suggestions, and if you think I am doing any of the above, please don't post in this topic. I don't care for flamers who get mad over little changes. Either way, if these don't get implemented, I'll still enjoy Halo Nation. Thanks for reading.

I can have Bock work on the Affliates scrool-bar. I will remove those except Gallery. The Portal isn't used anymore, just for the extra stuff, I may remove it. We have a Home Site instead of using a Portal now. We do have a forum sig in the "Site Facts and Information" category if you want to use it.

Ah, so that kind of scrolling. I thought he meant make a scrollbar for the affliates widget, I could have done a verticle marquee. I changed it a bit to slow it down and to make it go from top to bottom.

I usually don't lock topics unless it becomes bad and in that case I usually send it to the Trash Bin where it is auto-locked and sectioned into a forum where it will be out of the way and in a locked category or delete it, but I will lock this one to respect the request.
